Josh Charnley's Official Blog
To all those who are wondering, this first bit is written by Dave Firth from www.adventure21.co.uk . I've known Josh for some years now firstly through his mum and dad and then later on as mates and training together at Pasquill's gym in Chorley. I've seen him grow from an enthusiastic young lad to a fun loving professionalism rugby league player. Don't get me wrong, i understand very little about the game, (my lads have just started playing so they are showing me the ropes) but what i do understand is that Josh Charnley's determination and love for the game could provide this country with one of the best young sportsman we have seen for some time.
The Aim of this blog is to keep Josh's family, friends and followers in touch with what he's up to, training programs, challenges, personal goals and public appearances to name but a few.
Josh hopes you enjoy following his progress and that you find the information in his blog of interest. Please feel free to ask questions and add constructive comments.

Like the shoulder work out I'll try that this Morning. What do you do for your chest.
ReplyDeleteI presume you must do loads of cardio & running.
Pointless activity for me I have enough trouble keeping my weight up without doing things to lose it.
I'm 46 this year never been fitter except for injuries typical for an RU 2nd row, back, shoulders, etc.
Think you've got a great future at Wigan Good Luck for Sunday
hi pal sorry i've bin busy today. if i was you id keep it light but high in repetition. id keep to the dumbbells.
ReplyDeletestart on:
flat bench press: 4 sets of 12
incline bench press: 4 sets of 12
dumbbell flies: 3 sets of 10
Then you can put your feet up on the bench and do press up to attack the upper chest.
let me no how you get on. Thanks for reading my blog.
Hi Josh I found to do the extra reps & set I had to lower the weight to complete on the shoulder work out. I'm carefull what I do with free weights (dodgy rotator cuff).
ReplyDeleteIts good to read about you few more trophies and I'll be reading the book.
I'm using Atlas All Whey post workout with water & with milk as a meal replacement. Heamo Rage as an effective pre-workout 2 scoops 20 mins before.
I've tried different Testo Boosters, but not used for 3 months & honestly not noticed the difference. I once went down the line of buying a pro-hormone called celtic dragon but later read all the bad reports on it so fortunately I only wasted £35. Not for me. Can't go to Braford this afternoon so good luck for the win.
Killer Press Ups at the end 3 sets of 20
